Punakha River offers the perfect opportunity for a little adrenalin rush whilst in Bhutan. Day raft trips from Thimphu or Punakha itself can be arranged to suit your rafting needs either in Mo Chhu or Pho Chhu River. More than a river trip, one will have the chance to embrace the culture and history of Bhutan and encounter the peaceful, fun-loving citizens as you journey down the Paro Chu, Mo Chu not to mention the amazing backdrop of Punakha Dzong. Best times for River Rafting and Kayaking in Bhutan are March to April and November to December. Rafting activity is offered by rafting companies operating in Bhutan and not by Inner Bhutan. However, we are happy to make the necessary arrangements for you.
From relaxed (low) to ones where you need to be fit to join in.
LowNo surprises here. These tours/activities are those most anyone can do if they are fine with fairly flat walks and getting in and out of transport.
MediumLike to be active, even very active, but not pushed too far. This is the one for you.
HighThese tours/activities require you to be very fit. Probably not suitable for children.
