The hotel resembles a typical Dzong (Fortress or Castle in Bhutan) which in itself has been an object of architectural enigma and masterpiece. It is said that 60 talented local artisans worked for three years to complete the daunting task of infusing the tradition and cultural aspect to the very roots of the buildings. A temple has been built into the second floor of the hotel, made with 450-year-old timbers from the famous Gangtey Monastery.
